The Brokers Edge was founded by REALTORS® to fill a void in the industry. While software engineers and web developers did a fairly decent job addressing the needs of real estate professionals they were never able to fully design a website or IDX solution that lived up to expectations. Why? Because they do not fully understand the real estate industry. This main problem was the deficiencies left that affected the buyer. Agents wanted to make the home shopping experience more pleasant, and their time more productive. The software industry just did not get it.
To accomplish this founders at the Brokers Edge designed software to assist both Buyer and Agent. Our “Client Resource Manager” was the core of our custom IDX solution and was designed by REALTORS® for REALTORS®. The “Client Resource Manager” allowed for an information exchange seamlessly between the MLS, Agent and Buyer and to flow smoothly and reliably.
The UltimateIDX™ became a reality. It is accurate to say that real estate websites utilizing the UltimateIDX™ or UltimateRETS™ as their MLS search engine demonstrate a desire to bring cutting edge technology and a commitment of service excellence to their Buyers and Clients.
Since launching The Brokers’ Edge website we have transitioned into a real estate portal offering not only IDX and RETS services but acting as a forum and repository for tools to assist the real estate professional in day to day activities to help make the home buying experience more productive and pleasant for Buyers and Agents.
